This Necro Stellar album “Maithuna with BBW” is the first part of a trilogy and is dedicated to the 12 best girls the author met in 2019. This work is stylistically consistent with the tradition of the Italian and French Baroque-Renaissance schools of the 16th-17th centuries and German harpsichord music in particular, with the exception of a few compositions. Here polyphonic vocalizations, backed up by vintage vocoders and harmonizers are replace the lyrics. And short German choruses “Mein DNA Fluss fliesst in deine Vagina” (My DNA flows into your vagina) or “Wer bist du, Seele? oeffne dich mir” (Who are you, my soul? Open up to me), coupled with the girl's sexual exclamations, create an indescribable flavor. Unlike the band's other albums, the sound palette of this release is quite restrained. Here the listener will not find an unthinkable amount of analog synthesizers and effects, as it was in all previous releases of this band. It is also worth noting the nature of the sound: every instrument recorded on this album, including the drum section, was passed through 3-6 class A tube preamps (for each group of frequencies), which made the sound smooth, strange, dense and "raw" at it's positive sense. The 12 compositions send us back to the time when many of us, being in deep childhood, played similar short claviers in music school on an old piano... If Bach and Handel had such technical capabilities of the 21st century, would they sound the same?)

Новый альбом Necro Stellar “Maithuna with BBW” представляет собой первую часть трилогии и посвящен 12 лучшим девушкам, с которыми автор познакомился в 2019 году. Данная работа стилистически выдержана в традиции итальянской и французской барочно-ренессансной школы XVI-XVII веков и немецкой клавесинной музыки в частности, за исключением нескольких композиций. Здесь многоголосные вокализы, подкреплённые винтажными вокодерами и гармонайзерами заменяют тексты песен, а короткие припевы на немецком “Mein DNA Fluss fließt in deine Vagina” (Моё ДНК течет в твоё влагалище) или “Wer bist du, Seele? öffne dich mir” (Кто ты, Душа моя? Откройся мне) вкупе с сексуальными возгласами девушек, создают непередаваемый колорит. В отличие от других альбомом группы, звуковая палитра этого релиза достаточно сдержана. Здесь слушатель не найдет немыслимое количество аналоговых синтезаторов и эффектов, как это было во всех предыдущих релизах данного коллектива. Также стоит отметить характер звучания: каждый инструмент, записанный на этом альбоме, включая секцию ударных, был пропущен через 3-6 ламповых преампов A класса (для каждой группы частот), что сделало звучание бархатным, странным, дремучим и в правильном смысле «сырым». 12 композиций отсылают нас к тому времени, когда многие из нас, будучи в глубоком детстве, играли подобные короткие клавиры в музыкальной школе на стареньком фортепиано... Если бы у Баха и Генделя были технические возможности 21 века, они звучали бы также?)

Dopo aver mosso i primissimi passi nel lontano 1988 ed aver collezionato nell'ultimo ventennio un congruo numero di uscite, il progetto guidato dal mastermind Yuri Zvezdniy approda alla corte della connazionale COD, che lo scorso novembre ha rilasciato il lavoro in esame. L'act moscovita è sempre stato un'entità sonora decisamente sui generis, curiosa nelle scelte e sinceramente incurante di schemi e dettami, e lo ha dimostrato negli anni fondendo in un bizzarro calderone le più variegate derive sintetiche (electrogoth, harsh-electro, EBM...) con approcci più organici che vanno dal metal al folk fiabesco, svariando parecchio a livello ritmico e sfruttando in più occasioni una vocalità (baritonale per Yuri, ben spalleggiato da più soavi ugole femminili) ricca di riferimenti agli stilemi tipicamente russofoni. In questa nuova fatica, che Yuri dedica alle migliori dodici fanciulle conosciute nel 2019, NS esplora il neoclassicismo col proprio consueto grande eclettismo, con particolare enfasi nel reinterpretare in chiave personale certa musica barocca, fra episodi strumentali ai limiti del prog e brani cantati che vedono ancora una volta gradite presenze femminili a duettare col direttore unico dei lavori. Un'opera per certi versi avanguardistica nella sua estrosa volontà di fagocitare e far proprie certe sonorità, sicuramente non di facile fruizione per chi si diletta con musica ben più ligia al rispetto dei canoni, spiazzante, folle ed ubriacante nelle sue forme (a cui spesso non siamo "culturalmente" abituati), ma senza dubbio meritevole di attenzione da parte di chi apprezza un approccio genuinamente originale e non scontato.
